Bewerley Riding Centre, is set in the heart of Nidderdale, and was opened in 1965 by Margaret Clark, Our Riding school is A.B.R.S approved and is under the supervision of registered British Horse society (BHS) qualified instructors offering expert tuition in an attractive and safe environment.
We offer private horse riding, semiprivate horse riding lessons and group horse riding lessons for adults and children, whether you are a beginner or an experienced rider looking to improve your technique. In school holidays we offer lots of activities for children such as pony fun days, gymkhana’s, jumping afternoons, hacks and younger children’s mornings, where they come learn and have fun please see our whats on page.
We have a good selection of well-mannered, quality horses and ponies to suit all abilities. We also offer hats and boots to current standards for any one that does not have there own.
Unfortunately we have to have a weight limit of 14 stones.
Bewerley offers good facilities which include a large indoor school, outdoor wood chip arena, grass jumping paddock, and cross country schooling fences together with good hacking and trekking in an area of outstanding natural beauty.
