Bewerley Riding Centre, in the heart of Nidderdale, was opened in 1965 by Margaret Clark, who has competed, and won, at affiliated Dressage, Show jumping and British eventing.
Rebecca Dunn Instructor - BHSAI - Assistant Yard Manager
Has been with BRC for 5 years. Her special interests are competing with her horse James (High Spy) in one day events. She is looking forward to affiliating him in Eventing and BSJA this summer. She is particularly interested in working with the older Pony Club Groups and is continuing her equine studies with further BHS exams.
Duan Taylor
Joined BRC last year from a career in animal welfare in his home island, The Isle of Mann. His background includes Herpatology (the study of reptiles) and working in aquatics. He is qualified in Marine Mammal Medics, but is currently studying for his first level BHS examinations and Riding and Road Safety Test. His ambition is to work towards riding a cross country course.
Mandy Crosby
works in a voluntary capacity as office manager (and general extra pair of hands)She has been at BRC for the last 34 years (despite only being 38!) Her particular interests are a comfortable western saddle and hacking out.
